After assembling, if the holes for the screws are not aligned properly, simply put the screws in loosely until all pieces are together, then tighten them all. If there is a gap between two connective boards, adjust the screws to try and close the gap.

You can certainly put three monitors on the desktop, and the desk has a hole for a monitor mount if needed. The table surface is textured.
